Overnight Oats

Ingredients
- 80g rolled oats
- 40g finely chopped dried fruit
- 10g chia seeds
- 1ml cinnamon
- Pinch freshly grated nutmeg
- Pinch of sea salt
- 320ml milk

Instructions
In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, dried fruit, chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and milk. Stir through. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
NOTES
- The oats will absorb a lot of the milk overnight. In the morning, you may want to leave it as is so it remains thick, or add a little extra milk to thin.
- If desired, you can also add extra toppings such as fresh fruit or chopped nuts from your daily allowance.
- Instead of soaking overnight, you can also soak this mixture for 1–2 hours at room temperature and it will soften nicely (it softens more after a few hours, but if soaking overnight be sure to refrigerate).
